Over the past few days, for those in attendance and those who have bought the stream at poolactiontv.com, we have been treated to some big time action. Last night the field of 16 was cut down to the final 4. Canadian hopeful John Morra was right in the thick of the action.
He was on a good run in this tournament getting through last years winner Justin Bergman in the first round. He then followed it up with a win against Corey Duel before running into the brick wall that is Shane Van Boening. The "South Dakota Kid" as he is known, has been a thorn in the side of Morra this year as they have met up countless times late in tournaments with SVB usually winning a close match on the hill.
For most, taking SVB to the hill multiple times in a short period of time would be an accomplishment. However for touring professionals playing in top heavy pay out tournaments, losing comes at a significant cost. Unfortunately for Morra who has been playing great, he keeps running into his nemesis SVB at key times in tournaments.

In other news, yesterday Alex Olinger who is a barbox specialist who beat Johnny Archer, was up against Chad Vilmont. Olinger had a huge lead at 20-11 however Vilmont played his way all the way back to win this set at a shocking 21-20.
The action resumes today at 1pm central time. The final 4 returning today will be Shane Van Boening, Sky Woodward, Corey Duel and Warren Kiamco. To purchase today's stream go to poolactiontv.com
